DevOps Maaya is led by Sagar Kakkala, with a simple goal: make learning Development and DevOps more practical, understandable, and connected to real-world projects.
Instead of learning tools in isolation, we believe the best way to learn is to understand how everything fits together — from writing the first line of code to deploying a production-ready application in the cloud.
At DevOps Maaya, learning is project-based.
You won't just learn what a tool is or memorize commands. We focus on understanding:
The goal is to help you develop the ability to look at a real-world application and understand the complete journey from development to deployment.
DevOps Maaya brings together learning across Development, DevOps, Cloud, Containers, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
The focus isn't simply on learning a long list of tools.
The focus is understanding why these tools exist and how they work together.
As part of our project-based approach, we will work with a real-world E-Commerce application.
We develop an E-Commerce application by working through the major components of a modern application.
Frontend → Backend → APIs → Database
You'll understand how the different layers communicate and how a complete application is developed.
Once the application is built, we introduce the tools and practices used by development teams to manage and deliver software.
Git → GitHub → Maven → CI/CD
Next, we take the application and containerize it using Docker.
You'll understand:
We then move from individual containers to orchestration using Kubernetes.
You'll learn concepts such as:
Finally, we take our application into the cloud using AWS and Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
You'll see how a locally developed application can move through the complete journey:
Along the way, we explore infrastructure automation using Terraform and package management using Helm.
One of the biggest problems with learning DevOps is learning commands without understanding the reason behind them.
At DevOps Maaya, we want to change that.
Instead of simply saying:
We want you to understand:
That understanding is what helps turn individual tool knowledge into practical engineering skills.
Understand the concepts and technologies.
Apply those concepts to a real application.
Understand how different technologies work together.
Take the application from your local environment to the cloud.
Learn the why, not just the commands.
DevOps Maaya is designed for learners who want to build practical skills in:
Whether you are starting your journey or looking to strengthen your practical understanding, our goal is to make complex technologies easier to understand by connecting them to something tangible — a real project.
We believe learning becomes easier when you stop learning technologies as isolated topics and start seeing the bigger picture.
That's how practical learning happens.
